About Me
I have been interested in art ever since I can remember. I was horse crazy as a kid and was constantly drawing.
I always loved watercolor and took a class in my adult years. At first it was quite a challenge then I grew to love it. I have taken numerous workshops from other accomplished artists. Recently I have done most of my work via self study. I have moved on to many other mediums and my current favorite is Acrylics.
I especially enjoy the use of color to empathize and dramatize the subject.
I work out of my studio in Louisville Colorado (just a few miles from Boulder). The inspiration for my work comes primarily from the incredible scenes just outside my window. I am currently primarily working on Acrylic Landscapes, especially skies. This has been an incredible summer for capturing the Colorado sky. However in the past I have done a series of Aspen trees, and florals. When I can't decide what to work on next I'll sit down and do an abstract.
